School Workplace Learning Programs

We support Schools in the Perh with their On-Site School based training Programs.In this program students are placed in the work force 1 day per week to gain experience in differing trades. At Lazco we offer Students experience in The Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Trade or In Sheet Metal Fabrication.Lazco has been supporting Local schools with their training programs during the past 10 years.During this time several of these Students have been offered Apprenticeships at Lazco and qualified as successful trades personel.

 

 Apprenticeships

Lazco is a wholly owned and operated Western Australian Company and supports on the job training and continues to offer apprenticeships in both the Refrigeration and Airconditioning and in the Sheet Metal Fabrication Trade.These apprenticeships are usually undertaken over a period of 3 to 4 years depending on the apprenticeship (42 Months is the standard). During this time our apprentices work with qualified trades personel and are given on the job training so that all competencies and requirements of the specific apprenticeship are achieved at the highest standard or (The Lazco Way). The apprentices are also required to attend Tafe completing and passing the necessary Units for their Certificate.
